We are excited to be learning about the human body, Asia, and Hokusai our Japanese artist. We have already had many lessons on these topics. We talked about the different parts of the brain and what areas of the brain control the five senses. The children had a lesson on animals from Asia and we explored the Asia puzzle map. Hokusai, Japan's most famous artist, painted the Great Wave. The children have been painting his work with watercolors.
Parents are always welcome to come and talk with the children about different cultures. If you would like to come in this month, please email me and we will be happy for you to come in and share with the class!!!
