Week in Review

This week we had lessons on the parts of the eye and the parts of the ear. We played the "telephone game" and "guess the sounds". Ms. Citlalli read the book, Kindness and Generosity: It starts with me. We have been talking a lot about being kind to others and respecting each other's feelings. The "organ apron" job has been very popular this week! Some of the children have done research on different animals from Asia. In enrichment, we learned 4 new sight words: here, it, is, and in. They were excited to take their sight word books home today. I read a book about China and we learned numbers 1-10 in Chinese.
We will be sending home Scholastic book orders on Thursday. Please check your child's backpack for the flyers.
