Week in Review

Everyone has gotten into the rhythm of our classroom routine.  On Monday we had a lesson on the planets. Tuesday's lesson was on North America focusing on U.S. Landmarks. In enrichment, we talked in detail about the American Flag and what it stands for and Mount Rushmore. On Wednesday, we discussed the Sun and how it is the brightest star in our Solar System. In enrichment, we talked about the artist, Jackson Pollock, and created some really fun "marble paintings".  On Thursday we went to the library, on Friday we finished jobs and wrapped up the week.

Thank you to Mr. Ben (Nate's dad) for coming to read a book to the children during rest time.  Also happy 4th birthday to Zenisha!  We had her Celebration of Life on Friday.
