Week in Review

This week we began studying about our 5 senses. The first sense we talked about was the sense of taste. We learned about our taste buds and where on the tongue we taste sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. In enrichment, we had a food tasting...everyone agreed that bitter was not a good taste!!! The second sense was the sense of hearing. The Kindergarteners made their own ear accordian. They learned the different parts of the ear. In enrichment we played a hearing game where the children had to guess the sound.
We had a special storytime this week as well. The librarian from North Shelby Library came to JBMA and put on a puppet show for the children, which they absolutely loved!
