Week in Review

This week we had lessons on landmarks in North America, specifically The Grand Canyon, The Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, The Golden Gate Bridge, and The Space Needle. We also talked about animals that are found in North America. On Wednesday we had a lesson on Mexico and I brought in some artifacts from my trip to Mexico over the Summer. The children really enjoyed looking and observing them! We also had an introduction to Canada and had a lesson on the puzzle map of the United States.
