Week in Review

This week we had a lesson on the layers of the Earth. We made a model out of play doh representing the layers of the Earth. On Tuesday, we made a volcano and made it erupt. The children learned that a volcano is an opening in the Earth's surface. On Wednesday, we talked about where we live in the universe. Thursday, we discussed and had a lesson with the land and water globe. We identified what areas were land and what areas were water. The children also learned the names of the oceans. Lastly, on Friday we had a lesson on our artist Norman  Rockwell.
