Week in Review

This week we continued our study of ocean animals by creating an ocean life bulletin board in the classroom. The children enjoyed making paper plate jellyfish and coloring ocean life. We celebrated Peter's 4th birthday, the children had fun eating cupcakes for snack on Tuesday. We also learned about different instruments from Australia, especially the didgeridoo. We have been listening to traditional aboriginal music this week. We talked more about aboriginal dot art and made some kangaroo dot art.

On Friday, we made Earth day headbands and homemade bird feeders. Lola brought in special "Lola safe" butter and we decorated pine cones with bird seed.
