Week in Review

This week we have been getting ready for our Halloween Parade and classroom party. The children made a really cute craft they will bring home on Monday. We finished up our leaf study and went on a leaf walk around the school campus. We did a science experiment in enrichment on why leaves change color in Autumn. The children really loved it! We carved a pumpkin and we named it "Pete the Pumpkin". In enrichment, the middle schoolers came over and read books to the children. We hope everyone has a great weekend!

FYI:
The school-wide Halloween Parade will begin at 9:00 on Monday at the track. Please have the children wear their clothes under their costumes for easy removal of the costumes.

Makeup and sibling pictures will be taken on Tuesday, November 1st.  If you would like your child to take a picture with their sibling please let us know.

Classroom Notebooks are going home today for your review.  The children are proud of what they have learned and work they have completed during the month. Please view the notebooks with your child, sign the last page, and return by Monday.

The school's book fair is next week.  The children will visit the library to make a wish list.  Children are welcomed to purchase books.

Thank you,
Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Citlalli
