Week in Review

This week has flown by! All the children are ready for Winter Break! We have been busy with lessons and learning more about Europe, Vincent Van Gogh, and magnets. Everette shared some magnets with the class, and we celebrated Elizabeth's 4th birthday.  We also completed a community project by writing holiday cards.  

The children really enjoyed the books we read by the author Jan Brett. Some of them included: The Three Snow Bears, Gingerbread Friends, and The Gingerbread Baby.  In enrichment, we decorated our own Gingerbread Friend and Thursday we made Gingerbread Babies. The children loved rolling the dough with the rolling pin and decorating their cookies...of course we baked them and had milk with our cookies!
