We have had a busy week! Monday we started painting Monet's Japanese Bridge. The children loved the tape resist technique along with sponge painting. We have talked more and more about dinosaurs and we made our own "fossils" in enrichment on Tuesday. Thursday we continued painting our Monet paintings and had a lesson on animals from Europe. Friday we had a guest speaker. Ms. Kimmie came to the classroom and spoke to us about her experience in the US Army. Then we worked on making a dinosaur skeleton with dried pasta.
We have been practicing our Holiday songs for our upcoming Preschool Holiday Program on December 10. (Details to follow.) The 3 songs the preschool will be singing are: Silent Night, Deck the Halls, and Santa Claus is coming to town. We will be putting the words to the songs in your child's green folder.
