This week we completed our study of leaves and trees, Africa, and Jacob Lawrence. We had a lesson on the Life Cycle of the Pumpkin and talked about the names of different pumpkins and gourds. Tuesday we carved our pumpkin into a jack o lantern and worked on our special Halloween craft. Wednesday, we had Nate's dad, Mr. Ben come in and read,
If you give a dog a donut by Laura Numeroff. The children really enjoyed that! Thursday we focused on apples and tasting different kinds of apples. Hopefully the children will be able to remember the names! Of course, Friday will be an exciting day! Everyone is ready to dress up for the Halloween Parade!!!
