Week in review

This week we learned that the Alabama state bird is the yellowhammer, our state flower is the Camellia, and lots of other interesting facts about Alabama! In science we had lessons on the phases of the moon and other planets in our Solar System. The children are really working hard on individual and small group jobs in the classroom. We are excited about starting Scholastic and hope you are too! Remember, all work will be sent home every Friday in your child's green folder. Have a great weekend!

We have also been putting together a classroom "About Me" book, we are close to completing it for parents to meet the children in the class.  This book will be rotated to all our families soon.

 About Me books.

Proud to construct the pink tower.           Sharing 50 States book with the class.
We are doing well with our morning routine.

Three-year olds excited to work on the red and blue rods.

Group lesson on our emergency plan and procedures for fire and tornado.

 Everyone did great push-pinning work!
